The facility provides large open fields with plenty of room to romp and play. What is really great is that each staff member learns the personality of each dog and cat(they have a cattery as well). This helps in determining who gets along with who….yes it is just like kids in kindergarten where some dogs do not prefer to play with others. So these personalities are accommodated.

The kennels are clean and the staff makes certain your best friend is comfortable. They will provide food, but you can bring their food from home which is better. They DO provide dog cookies throughout the day and the dogs know it. They also play ball and chase and when the weather gets warm they put out wading pools of water for the dogs to romp and lay in. They also have special events usually on Halloween and Xmas, and thney provide the dogs a little taste of turkey (owner permitted) on Thanksgiving.

Our dogs always get excited before we even turn down the driveway. They love it here. And at the end of the day your dog will come home tired. When our yellow lab passed away at a early age the staff at Green Acres cried with us and helped us through the difficult time.

What a great place to bring your dog for a day, a week or longer. We love it.
