The Christian Science Monitor – Lifeguard Dan Lund had no idea that the kite surfer bobbing a quarter-mile off a Florida beach Wednesday afternoon was surrounded by sharks and bleeding.

Federal agency denies protections for tiny pika (AP)

The Christian Science Monitor – Stephen Schafer, a Florida kite-surfer was killed by what some news outlets are claiming was a â??swarmâ? of great white sharks about a quarter mile off Stuart Beach in Martin County Florida.
