Tina Ferrier Green Acres Pet Resort Kennel Manager
I started my kennel career when I was a student attending Sumner High School. I obtained a degree in Veterinary Science from Washington State University in Pullman. After receiving my degree, I worked for several veterinary clinics in the Puyallup area until becoming a mom. I have extensive experience working with all animals. I enjoy spending time with my own animals which includes two boxers, Tiki and new puppy Ernmie, and cats, Trouble and Thing. As Kennel Manager, I supervise the kennel staff and oversee the daily care of our boarding and day care guests.

Adrienne
My name is Adrienne and I have been with Green Acres Pet Resort for 1 year now. I am an animal lover of all kinds; I am looking into going back to school to be a game warden. I have two young boys and a fury kid named Frankie.
I really love working at Green Acres Pet Resort the staff is nice an I enjoy playing with your fury kids all day long. For day care dogs we have two big yards we hang out and play ball or tug-of-war with. In the summer we have swimming pools we set up for the dogs that love water. If your dog is staying with us for weeks or just the weekend, we take walks in our woof woods and they get lots of free loves and care from me. For your kitties, we have a lovely cattery with lots of room and space for your cat to explore. I look forward to playing with your fury kids and kitties, so come on in and check us out.
Kristin
I have been working with animals since I was 16, mostly working in dog kennels. I am an absolute animal lover and am currently in school working towards a vet tech degree, possibly continuing onto a Bachelor's degree. I am originally from the east coast and I moved to WA from CO over the summer. I have a pit bull puppy named Layla.
As a kennel attendant, I am down in the kennels with the dogs, playing with them, feeding them, etc. My job is to make sure your pets get the best care and have the time of their lives at Green Acres Pet Resort!!

Reasons for Choosing Our Doggie Daycare
There are dozens and dozens of reasons to choose Green Acres for your pet care and Grooming, but take a look at our selection of ten reasons and see if you don't agree. If you think there are better reasons to choose us for doggie daycare and Grooming, please, let us know. We have plenty of testimonials, but we like to hear from our pet owners.
1. For many people, dogs and cats are their children. Pet owners may feel sad and guilty leaving them behind. It's no fun being cooped up in the house or garage all day. Green Acres provides a much-welcome alternative with indoor/outdoor kennels and Grooming. The dogs can choose where they want to go. Cats are given stimulating toys and company.
2. Many pets experience separation anxiety. They don't like to be left alone without their master. They may destroy home furnishings, have accidents in the house, bark non-stop & generally feel very stressed out to let everyone know their displeasure. Green Acres can be a tremendous help to dogs and owners. The dogs are made welcome. They are our guests.
3. Dogs are social animals and enjoy being part of a pack. They are free to interact and playing together. We match them up size-wise and encourage with instinctual group behavior. But, don't worry. Aggressive dogs are worked with by keepers and we even have a separate kennel for them if necessary.
4. The large fenced yards at Green Acres provides a ideal outlet for dogs to run and exercise. Leave your pet's pent-up energy with us.
5. Take a night off from walking a dog when you have a date or a concert you want to attend.
6. Regular stays at Green Acres Doggie Daycare helps your pet have firm muscles and a trim build.
7. Doggie Daycare is a wonderful alternative for when you have maintenance or pest control appointments. Or for when you have a house guest who is "dog-allergic." Or for when you are remodeling or have an extended appointment schedule which requires a temporary safe and comfortable quarters for a pet.
8. Green Acres Doggie Daycare makes bathing fun by combining it with a day of romping around and playing!
9. The Doggie Daycare program at Green Acres can help you with your new puppy. With Green Acres as your partner you are able to choose the puppy of your choice and not worry about leaving the puppy home alone all day while you're at work. With Green Acres doing the work, you can spend quality time with your new puppy. We can do the house-breaking and basic commands.
10. Green Acres's Daycare program provides an excellent beginning for your puppy. When your dog grows up you want it to be a well-socialized and well-adjusted companion. Dogs should be civilized. Daycare on a daily basis is great for consistency and optimal learning.
"Doggie daycare should be exciting for the pets and the owners."
