In order to protect our pets and yours, Green Acres Pet Resort has a few requirements. They are pretty basic, but still need to be addressed. We want to make sure all our dogs and cats stay healthy. No one wants their pet to become sick. We are their protectors.
Shots and Tests?
Green Acres Pet Resort requires current bordetella (kennel cough), distemper, rabies vaccinations as well as proof of a negative fecal test done within 30-days of boarding/daycare for our canine guests. Fecal testing must be updated every 3 months for ongoing daycare clients.
Green Acres Pet Resort requires current feline leukemia, distemper, and rabies for our feline guests.
No Time To Go To The Vet?
Green Acres Pet Resort can now provide our canine guests their annual, intranasal bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine and required parasitic fecal examination for your convenience. Please inform our staff of your needs when making your reservation.
Flea Protection?
Green Acres Pet Resort requires flea protection for all our guests. If fleas are noted - a flea bath and flea protection will be provided at a charge.
Food?
Green Acres Pet Resort recommends that you bring the food that your pet is currently eating in order to prevent any gastric upset. We will happily provide your pet's food at no extra charge per your feeding instructions. However, if you choose to use our food, a fee will be charged.
Medications?
Green Acres Pet Resort will administer any medications that are required during your pets stay for no extra charge.
General Information
Green Acres Pet Resort encourages you to bring any personal items that will make your pets stay more comfortable: blankets, toys, chew toys, but NO RAWHIDES.

1. For many people, dogs and cats are their children. Pet owners may feel sad and guilty leaving them behind. It's no fun being cooped up in the house or garage all day. Green Acres provides a much-welcome alternative with indoor/outdoor kennels and Grooming. The dogs can choose where they want to go. Cats are given stimulating toys and company.
2. Many pets experience separation anxiety. They don't like to be left alone without their master. They may destroy home furnishings, have accidents in the house, bark non-stop & generally feel very stressed out to let everyone know their displeasure. Green Acres can be a tremendous help to dogs and owners. The dogs are made welcome. They are our guests.
3. Dogs are social animals and enjoy being part of a pack. They are free to interact and playing together. We match them up size-wise and encourage with instinctual group behavior. But, don't worry. Aggressive dogs are worked with by keepers and we even have a separate kennel for them if necessary.
